Description Kjelle Apers 2011-05-08 22:39:20 EEST
Some applications still use Qt4.5. Would it be possible to support this version
of Qt with PySide? It was already possible to use 1.0.1 with some minor
tweaking, and probably 1.0.2 will works too. If necessary, the community can
test and the patches can just be added to the codebase.

We had a discussion about this on the mailinglist:

I agree with Matti opinion about keep PySide at least compiling with Qt 4.5,
fixing compilation bugs just based on users feedback. i.e. PySide will not
guarantee to be compilable with Qt4.5, but we will try to do it and accept any
patch to lead PySide to this goal.
