Description rocher.jm 2011-04-07 20:24:05 EEST
on linux when we try to compile an ui file, pyside write the header then send
back an error.

I have solved this issue by deleting the __init__.py and pyc
with.

sudo rm /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/pysideuic/widget-plugins/__init__.py*

this issue is annoying, because it remain with each update of tools

But there is no __init__.py inside widget-plugins directory as you can see
here:

this can be a problem on your pyside package. Which package are you using?
Comment 3 rocher.jm 2011-04-08 23:26:22 EEST
this package the 0.2.8 comming from http://ppa.launchpad.net/pyside/ppa/ubuntu

Anyway I think this is a duplicate of bug 812.
Comment 5 Hugo Parente Lima 2011-04-11 14:34:29 EEST
Could you check if the python stack trace is the same of bug 812 and/or if the
patch for bug 812 fixes this error?
Comment 6 Hugo Parente Lima 2011-04-13 17:15:03 EEST
Just checked, it's a duplicate.
