Description phunt1 2009-10-22 01:45:05 EEST
Created attachment 21 [details]
simple ui that shows the problem

The attached script runs fine under pyqt4, with pyside it aborts:

../pyside_test.py
terminate called after throwing an instance of
'boost::python::error_already_set'
Aborted

This is on an updated jaunty with:
Version: 0.2.1-0pyside0~ppa6
(it's been failing for a while though with pyside, not just in this version)

the attached is a cut down version of a larger app that I created.

I tested this with the current PySide git version and works fine, I think this
have already fixed, can you test this with the mainline version?

I'd be happy to give it a shot, is there a binary pkg I could use (jaunty), i'd
rather not try to compile from scratch if at all possible. Currently I'm
getting pyside from launchpad. Should I just wait a bit for 0.3.x to get pushed
to launchpad?
