Description Everest 2011-02-07 17:39:12 EET
hello,

there is possibly missing pyside-rcc files in
PySide-1.0.0beta4qt471.win32-py2.6.exe windows Installer. I tried pyside-uic
its ok but pyside-rcc says command not found. even in the respective folder,
pyside-uic is there but pyside-rcc is missing.

Thanks for checking it and including it in the near future. on a side note can
i seperately download it for windows the pyside-rcc files as i am starting to
develop a small application using Pyside/QML as part of my learning excercise.

Thanks in advance

-Everest

I added Roman Lacko on c.c. list, he's the man behind PySide Windows installer.

Hi,
The pyside-rcc.exe (and also pyside-lupdate.exe) binaries are located in PySide
folder where all PySide and Qt DLLs are. On my system it is
c:\Python26\Lib\site-packages\PySide. It is not installed into
c:\Python26\Scripts folder because in this folder are installed only python
scripts (and their binary wrappers generated by installer: pyside-uic-script.py
-> pyside-uic.exe) and pyside-rcc.exe is pure windows binary.

Regards
-Roman
