crash report

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. open Spyder from terminal window
2. change focus to any other window (clicking anywhere outside the Spyder
window)

This error is 100% repeatable.

Someone inspecting the bug report (pierre.r...) commented: "Apparently, the
crash happens when calling 'QApplication.focusWidget()', so it is probably a
PySide internal crash."

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Spyder crashes. "Bus error: 10" is reported in the terminal window.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Mac OS X Lion (10.7.1)
Enthought Python Distribution 7.1-2 (32-bit)
Spyder 2.0
