Hi, 

Following on the Techinical preview
http://lists.openbossa.org/pipermail/pyside/2010-March/000492.html , I am
preparing packages for Debian based on those tarballs.

libshiboken  has no versioned SONAME. This is a major blocker for inclusion in
Debian, where each library is supposed to ship versioned symbols (I do that, no
problem) and a versioned SONAME (this is a packaging policy).

With versioned SONAME, we can provide several versions in parallel and, more
importantly, schedule library transitions more easily.
